Welcome back...

I created this blog to share our warm, gentle reminders that this mortal life has a clear, wonderful purpose, of preparing for life, love, joy and family, forever, and nurturing the clear divine, promised Spirit within, as our guide, as the surest way back home and our true, divinely sired natures. I will share written imageries and impressions, invitations, spiritual assurances that we are divinely loved, more than we may ever know. I invite you to feel and to access and share your assurances, of the love we once, in a most beautiful Home, so freely knew and shared. I am a father and husband, an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a student of creative spiritual writing amd life coaching (my own first), none of which I hope offends or separates us. I truly know that our best is yet to come, including the breaking down of all barriers to the Spirit.

think well always,

your brother, RLeeCook

What is Spiritual Life Coaching

What is a Spiritual Life Coach?
A religious counselor engages in serious discussion and guidance of morality, motives and values within the given tenets and doctrines of a religious church or community. A psychotherapist uses scientific psychotherapy models and theories to restore and sustain mental health and well being, affected by acute trauma, continued distress, neurological or psychological disease. Spiritual life coaching is an positive, action oriented process that will help you implement improvements in your life while deepening your spiritual growth.

                                                How will it help you?
All of us have at times, felt deep impressions of flowing, higher, purer, more gracious energetic feelings within us. We are truly spiritual beings here in mortal life for a physical experience. This understanding of spirit often gets overlooked, by a stressful pace, living each day fulfilling tasks and performing with increasingly raised expectations and commitments. We tend to give more value and energy to information that and problem solving from our brains, finding their great powers of analysis and judgment. But this is also where fear and anxiety are born, emotions that keep us dispirited – small and weak. A great power center within just waits our access to give direction and meaning to our lives. Whether we believe it to be a connection with God, the source of all life, or each person’s innate wisdom, spirit is a resource that we can draw upon. As a spiritual coach, I help provide a open, non-judgmental, presence and connection with Spirit, personalized guided imageries, energy management tools, as we untangle negative energy and limiting beliefs, to welcome a new, creative, amplified spiritual energy and perspective. You will recognize your inner coach, eager and easily available to help fulfill your goals, create positive change and ultimately fulfill your Divine purpose.

                                                            What will it cost?
First, you must feel and experience the benefit. A complimentary sample session gives a natural opportunity to experience my unique approach and style of spirit-to-spirit coaching. If we find a comfortable, interesting and useful benefit, we can proceed to work together, with a one-on-one or group package, by phone or personal meeting.

Your Peace and Clarity

How wonderful if we could gain and sustain peace and clarity, moment to moment, day to day, for ourselves
and those we are with.  What are you doing and need to do more of to resonate your best energy?
My work needed:
  • Stop Negative self talk – too quick to evaluate and judge someone, esp someone in leadership authority over me... then replay that negative, self fulfilling judgment.
  • Stop quickly glossing over a special/strong insight, a joy, delight, wonder, beauty to jump into the more complex, difficult side. (thanks Fawn)
  • Imbalances from hyper focusing, neglecting physical exercise, mental and emotional relaxation,
serving+thinking of others, spending too much time in my head and feelings.
  • Winning in my natural foods, holistic cure of recurring acid reflux.
  • Limit absorbing negative energy and environment from others – turn away from, change my perception and interpretations, use negativity diffusers: we'll see what happens, I hope so, I see your point/view, Peace/Love/Joy will find a way...
  • Feed my Spirit more – prayer, meditation, scripture reading and sharing
  • Tell others more often what I know to be true and exhalting.
  • Write down my spiritual impressions.
  • Relaxation and exercise which promotes mind-body-spirit harmonies.
  • Externalize the peaceful, positive, loving Spirit towards others – thoughts, words, emotions, projections.
  • Others....

Being True and Open to Self

Of all we are and must and called to be, the demands of our precious time and energies,
we cannot neglect to acknowledge our Divine spark and essence which craves at times to
rejoice with us sojourneying in this life.  One way I have noticed my former existence,
is at times an expereince, soft colorful sunsets, a large beautiful tree, a smile, something
that brings a deeper intensity of feeling and seems to send a beckoning message.
Any others ever notice?

Opening to Spirit

I would like to open with a pertinent life topic, really where I am with one of my *things*.
That is, expecting a new blessing on my own time table and terms, setting up pass/fail
parameters in my mind, frustration when they dont materialize. Ive been learning a more
gentle, allowing approach, from life coaching training.  Instead of setting a firm, well defined
goal, with my own time schedule and terms attached, Ive been trying to first feeling acceptance
and gratitude for being where i am and so blessed already.  Then I try a gentle suggestion,
for example, stating my first preference, one thing additional (ok this is a new, appealing idea),
I would like to receive, a small step in a particular quest, like a job search, making new friends,
starting to write again, being a better father and husband, church member, basically not exerting
a strong, lofty, string of wants, which become to unweildy and burdensome.
Then I feel I can be more open to the Spirit's influence, giving and direction, more available.
I breath easier, think easier, smile more, visualize fountains of water flowing and pooling.
How do you do it?
